Ventura Team was formed in 2004 around a vision of creating a next generation consulting company that eliminates the weaknesses of traditional consulting firms for the good of our clients.
We use a senior team of experienced professionals - most combining stong operational backgrounds, as well as extensive board level consulting experience. You can see bios of some of our senior team on the right hand side of this page.

- co-owned the number one open-access, FTTH comms operator in Sweden
- co-founded a global open-access, comms operator
- have worked on FTTH projects across five continents
- started the project that became a National Broadband Network
- have worked on three electricity utility projects moving to FTTH across their network (two from inception - one of which was a multi-year engagement
- led the consulting project to create the World's first gigabit fibre operator including a complete copper to fibre migration
- wrote the seminal report for the EU in 1993 that kicked off the move to unbundling
- have held director/CEO roles in mobile and fixed, in both startups and established operators and across companies in Europe, Africa and the Gulf
- acted as CTO for a network build of 15,000 kms across Europe
- grew a leading edge, triple play business to 100,000 subscribers
- advised on telecom finance deals worth more than $100 billion
- worked with the UK government's broadband strategy group
- turned around major projects with investments up to $500 million
- worked extensively across UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the USA and Asia
- helped BT plc devise and build new ventures
- worked with technology based startups - achieving up to 75 times shareholder returns
- are writing a series of books on best practice in technology management and programme management
- managed multi-year change programmes
