The report focuses on new market opportunities for mobile services based on embedding mobility in a wide variety of new devices beyond today's handsets and PC modems. Many of these services rely on mobile networks as the enabling platform for service solutions in non-mobile domains such as consumer electronics, health care, smart utilities and transport.

As part of this initiative, Venturateam organized a seminar on Embedded Mobile at Mobile World Congress 2009. This was the first event of its kind and brought together pioneering operators, vendors and service providers.
